Pull/load test
Despite the theoretical data regarding the use load capacity of the screws (according to the tables and soil data), it is recommended to perform a capacity test on site, easily and quickly - in order to give the planner the capacity data of the screws - in the area cell specific to the project. The test is usually done by the testing facility the ability of the screw to resist pulling out, by a hydraulic lever and a digital weight connected to the installed screw. The figure we get is divided in half, just to be safe. For example: a screw whose pull-out resistance is 2,200 kg, will be recommended by us for a load of up to 1,100 kg (approx. 1 ton). The test is super accurate, and relevant to the area of land where it was performed. In large areas, I perform a number of tests in several areas - in order to make the findings accurate.
Israeli standard 918
Standard 918: Hot-dip zinc coating on steel products and iron casting products. The standard applies to hot-dip zinc plating. Our ground screws and the related products are manufactured subject to the European and American standards, and are also sent to laboratory tests in Israel, to obtain the Israeli standard 918, at Xenon Laboratories Ltd. You can see in the attached reports that the galvanization levels of the screws are more than double the standard's requirements.
Load and pull test
Load testing and pull-out testing are necessary to match the type of bolt: length, diameter, and helix type to the project. The test is performed by us, after installing a trial bolt/bolts. The data we receive is the weight-bearing load of each bolt, and the ability to resist pull-out. This data will allow the project manager/constructor to match the correct bolts to the project.
